Are you growing your business the hard way or the easy way?

There are two ways you can control the management of growth in your business:One – the hard way – is to force it all to start from inside your head: you get the idea(s), you champion them, you make them happen. This is tough to do, hard to maintain and stressful to implement.

The second way is to start from outside your head: What’s already out there? What are your customers / employees / supply chain saying they want? This is easier to do, is boundlessly scalable (succeed once this way and your customers will give you even more feedback) and takes the stress from your shoulders to be the font of all wisdom.

So stop trying to be the reservoir in your business that everyone comes to to draw from, and start being a river that runs through it.
